Doesn’t work. Followed all directions but it doesn’t read any of my CDs. Too bad because it’s cute.

This is the coolest little CD player I’ve ever had!It looks straight out of the 70’s, like a little vinyl player. The build feels sturdy and the internal product packaging was EXTREMELY nice. All pieces arrived unbroken and in place.The legs simply push into place but hold adequately well, and it sits perfectly level. Using it as an overall is simple and uncomplicated, and it’s quite compact!The sound quality is much better than I expected! And the built in radio and Bluetooth functionality is solid. I have absolutely no complaints about any of the functions of this item.Honestly, I love this little guy, it’s adorable and stylish.

Overall, I am pleased with this CD player. It is functional and cute and consumes less shelf space than the small Sony boombox that it replaced for background comfort in my bedroom. Unfortunately, the speakers don’t perform quite as well as one might expect, given the size of the speaker grills. I haven’t looked behind the speaker coverings to inspect the size of each speaker, nor do I intend on so doing. However, I expected just a little more fullness to the sound, a touch more bass.The volume range is reasonable, however. And I am aware that I can pair a nicer Bluetooth speaker(s) to it to enjoy better audio. However, I ordered this player to use standalone. Having mentioned its Bluetooth capability, I will add that this little player has some nice features. In addition to Bluetooth, it has input for a small cable port to plug in an auxiliary device, a standard size usb port, a clock display, and an alarm clock. However, that being said, the instructions could be better presented. I did fiddle around with the clock settings because I like having time displays around the room, but I stopped short of setting an alarm because, frankly, my laser focus dissipated as I tried to understand the instructions. It could have been the late hour. Maybe, I’ll try when I’m more rested and have a break from more pressing matters.In conclusion, this is a great little gadget if you, still, listen to CDs. If you prefer to up your audio game, pair it with a nice Bluetooth speaker and it just might satisfy a pseudo-audiophile.Blessings

The PROTKPETS RETRO CD player is uniquely designed to remind the music-driven CD lover of the, 'turntable and record' days of the past with smart, engineered-in upgrades such as the lid that opens and is only the lid, where the pesky, tape connections often get in the way of the spinning CD, is not a problem here! Also, speakers have been added that upgrades its value and eliminates the requirement for headphones! And these tweaked, HIFI-speakers with a rich base sound are very adequate and pleasing. CD players with such lid designs and imbedded speaker systems may help resurrect the CD music and playing industries because they have improved the frail, round CD player problems in poor, designed, easily breakable plastic hinges. And I like the need to move the 'record player arm' to over the CD, which begins the CD spinning and playing! Well, PROTKPETS has taken a giant and FUN step in the right direction, by eliminating these concerns entirely which helps make this CD player a top consideration!

This Retro Styled Portable CD Player has cool looking , retro record player styled look, so it has a nice novelty item quality going for it. It works, and plays CD's, and if you're looking for this novelty look, and to just play some light background music in an office, or to play audio books, or podcasts,etc., using the bluetooth feature, it would be good for that, but if you're looking for premium, high quality, room filling sound, this is not it. This player is small, and the small speakers are built into it, so you're just not going to get amazing sound quality out of something this size, at this price point. It's not the worst I've ever heard though, and it does have a headphone jack, so it's possible that you could connect some bigger, better quality shelf speakers to it, and you might get a better quality sound. I don't have any shelf speakers to test with it, so I can't verify that. It's a very cool looking little cd player though.
