It's an aluminum rod wrapped with a rubber grip. The feel is soft, warm and tacky to the touch. The material is light and thin but durable, I find it best used for tripod extension ( can be well joined together; no 3/4" hole rubbish). It's firm and sturdy for support however not thick enough as a camera/accessories holder alone due to being not thick and grippy enough.

Unit was slightly larger than expected, but still small enough to be discrete. Attractive design. Basic, no frills model that does a terrific job. It is completely silent on lowest and very quiet on higher fan speeds. No annoying light stays on to show the unit is operating. It does an excellent job in our primary bedroom. Highly recommend.

My Blue Heeler sleeps with me. I’m allergic to dog dander. I’ve relied on Reactine and steroid eye drops (itchiness). Have not used either since getting this.Ensure you close your bedroom door and try to put it in a central spot. Low and med setting are very quiet. High setting a little too loud. I use med and it works great.Filters are a good price as well, something you need to consider when buying a purifier. This company has 3 different purpose filters you can get. Machine comes with the standard filter.Also watch for the micron filtering rating. This one goes down to 0.1 micron. Forget the ones that only go to 0.3 microns as that is to big of an air particle for good clean air.

Excellent air purifier. Leave it on all the time. The air in the condo is indeed fresher because of the purifier. Bought another one and gave it to my brother as a gift.

It is used in a room that is 12' by 16' with a 10' ceiling. I leave it on low and it is quiet. On medium if you like white noise at night it is fine. High is fairly loud but blows a lot of air. According to the air quality monitor it works. I have 4 blueair of various models. This one is nice and small but without the auto features and sensors. Basically it is a fan that draws air though filters and blows it out. As for changing the filter I have not tried yet. There is a video where some guy is showing the ease or difficulties of changing filters on various blueair units. It is not something that is required to do everyday but we will see when it's time to change it.

This is a very simple extension for 1/4" camera accessories. It is very lightweight so would work well even on a gimbal. It's all aluminum with a rubberized grip. The 1/4" threads on both ends work fine with everything I've used it with. Overall, this is a great extension for the price.
