I have a really nice mini-pc which I have hooked up to a very small (5.5" monitor and it works great), but with my 15" portable monitor, the USB to USB-C cable was not allowing sound. The picture was also a bit slow to come up and again, no sound. I needed the micro to regular HDMI cable as the mini-pc has four HDMI slots, but the monitor ONLY has a USB-C and a micro HDMI outlet. As soon as I plugged in the HDMI cable and turned the two pieces on, boom! Great picture and the monitor's sound came up. That's all I needed!

I got the straight ended version. I used this cable with a digital microscope at my work bench to prevent excess cable getting in the way.The coiled section is about 25cm (10"). Each tail end is about 12.5cm (5").The coil takes too much force to stretch. It is too much because micro-HDMI is too small to be taking extra force. I had to pre-stretch the cable, but even after doing that I can't really take advantage of it's full length.After I pre-stretched it, I can stretch the coiled section to about 60cm (24") without too much force. Beyond that I would probably use a cable restraint, at least on the micro-HDMI end.2 meters sounds like wishful thinking.Cable construction seems fine. No issue with connector fit. No issues with operation/signal.
