These shoes were made of very stiff leather [imported] and were unusable, unwearable, as they were designed and made!! The tongue comes back too far and too low cuts heavily into your foot / ankle painfully !! The only solution is to cut off the tongue, or fold it forward after heavily dampening it and clamp it in place for a week; which I did ! Of course it looks like crap but who cares. It is !! I want to note that I'm not overweight ; 6' 140 lbs.. Don't waste your money or time on these !!!
