This was a great gift. I would caution that the instructions are only illustrations. You have to look closely to put the correct pieces together in order. I am in my 40s and had a little bit difficulty at first trying to figure out the illustrations. If buying for a person younger than 12 may need help putting this together. The tool sent with it to put it together are a little loose so you have to manipulate to get it to work but it’s functional. The end product is worth it.

I've been enjoying these types of metal 3D puzzles. This one is a bit smaller and easier than some of the more elaborate models, and the $25 price point makes it an easier entry point to see if this is something that you would like. It takes focus, dexterity and attention to detail. It can be zen or frustrating (or both) depending on your mood and temperament. But it is rewarding in the end

I didn't realize I was buying a kit, but I am enjoying putting it together! I wish the instructions were larger print, but I am managing and I can't wait until I have it complete!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this set as this was my first time making this type of model. Some of the instructions and labeling were a little confusing, but as long as you don't take out a lot of pieces from the labeled bags, it's still pretty doable. I was impressed with the quality of the model and of the individual pieces. Everything fit together nicely and the entire thing felt solid. Now that I understand the instructions a little more, I would definitely purchase again.

This model was surprisingly challenging. It is a small 3D spider model and requires the builder to manipulate small parts to build the different aspects of the spider. It was a fun process to build and took some time. If you have big hands this might be hard as almost all the parts are small. The instructions are clear and show the building steps well. There is not a lot of English in the instructions so mostly you need to figure out what you are doing by the pictures. The parts though are well labeled and identified so this make is easier. All the parts come in individual bags that have the part numbers on them keeping you organized. This is not a model for younger kids as the challenge would most likely be to much for them. Plus if they mixed up the parts it would be very difficult to figure out. For an adult or old teen this would be fun if they like this sort of puzzle.
