Great pocket size. Works well with fountain pen without bleeding. Turn sideways for wide format bullet journal. Got me back into the habit of making a quick note every day since I just have it in my pocket.

This is a perfect set of notebooks to suit many needs: bullet journal, to-do list, capturing ideas, project notes, travel journal, and many other uses.Everybody has their own system, I find a set of three to be perfect, because pretty much everything that pops into my head in the course of a day that needs to be preserved falls into one of three categories:1. Things I need to know or do for work2. Things I need to know or do in my day-to-day personal life3. Things that I care about that aren't (1) or (2): thoughts and ideas, long-range goals, quotations, memories, lists of books I want to read or movies/shows I want to watch, or anything elseHere are a few of the features that makes these notebooks so useful:SIZE* I have notebooks I've never used because it's too much trouble to find and dig them out of whatever drawer I've tossed them in. These little guys are small enough to keep on your desk so that they'll be ready at hand when they're needed, but without creating clutter. Far neater and more organized than post-it notes.* And for when you're away from your desk, they're completely pocketable; perfect to fit in a back pocket, jacket pocket, EDC sling, or purse.ORGANIZATION* Writing something down is no use if you can't get back to it, and a lot of notebooks turn into a black hole where information goes and is lost forever. These notebooks have pre-numbered pages along with index pages up front, making it easy to keep your notes organized so you can find what you need later on. (There are tons of basic bullet-journaling videos online that will show you how you can set up and use this kind of indexing system. Super easy and very effective.)CONSTRUCTION* These notebooks are well-made. The covers are the right amount of thickness, and the binding is sewn, not glued; a combination that makes them flexible enough to be comfortable to use, but solid enough to hold up.* The pages themselves have a good thickness and opacity to keep your notes readable and minimize ink bleed-through.IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS:* Screw up something on a page? Need to jot something down and give it to somebody else, or take away separately from the notebook? No problem! The pages are perforated, so you can keep, distribute, or throw away any page as you need.* The elastic band is helpful, whether for keeping the notebook neatly closed when not in use, or for bookmarking a page for quick access later.* The little pocket on the inside back cover is perfect for storing a shopping list or other note to yourself, or one somebody else has give to you and you don't want to lose.VERDICT:Enthusiastically recommended. If you need to get organized, and see the value and convenience of not having to sign in to a computer or dig out your phone to do so, you're really going to like these notebooks.

Each page is numbered, perforated and there is an index in front. The page perforation solves my biggest issue with moleskin books, and the dots and "to do" bubbles make this a more versatile book that I can easily pocket or purse.
