I’ve had a garage & shed full of these Fasttrack rails & shelves, continue to absolutely love them, and they’ll last me a lifetime. Worth every penny.

I bought the 36 inch shelf kit for a closet under the stairs. Needed enough room to walk through, so the 12 inch depth was perfect. Used to just toss everything in there and it was a mess. Installation was easy.

Really like the Rubbermade Fasttrack shelving. Easy to install, durable, sturdy and final presentation is aesthetically pleasing. The engineers had flexibility in mind when they manufactured this design.

This is the fourth set of Rubbermaid Fastrack shelf units I have installed. The track and vertical supports are robust and well made. The only difficulty I had was getting the shelf supports for the 36" set inserted and attached to the shelves grill work. It's not rocket science, but you have to squeeze the attachment fingers to get them to slip into the verticals. Also, this set's supports tend to move (sideways) after being attached which makes attaching the shelves more difficult. Once everything is aligned, the shelves lock in place but this last step is more time consuming than on the 48" set.The FastTrack system looks good and upper track makes installation easy since it holds the verticals in place for you.

This unit is east to assemble and functions very well. However, while it is promoted as a garage shelving unit it only comes with a complete mounting solution for drywall installations. There is no provision to mounting on a concrete or cinder block wall an even an open stud wall will likely require some extra wood. My garage has cinder block walls but I have a hammer drill so I just had to get some concrete screws to install this. Overall this is a good unit but be prepared to improvise if your garage is not drywall.
