I was going to make one of these out of an old lawnmower handle but decided to just buy one for the sake of simplicity. This Bar bolted nicely and securely to the metal dash of my old willys jeep. It is thick steel tubing and of high quality. Now my passengers can enjoy the ride when it gets rough with out fear of falling out. With these old jeep with no tops or doors, you don't really sit in them you more or less sit on them. The drivers have a steering wheel to hold on to. The passengers, without a Grab Bar, only have their faith in the divine.

Fit in existing factory holes. Nice finish and adds class to the interior of my CJ5.

Upon initial inspection, it seems to be decent in quality and solid powder-coated finish. Unfortunately, I won't be able to review how it holds up as I didn't realize it won't fit my Jeep due to the front Roll Cage pillars, so I will be trying to sell it.IF it had fit my application, it would be in use now. For a standard CJ with no modified roll cage, it should do well.
