They basically cost less than buying a new bike tire innertube and cutting it up. They work as expected of rubber bands.

A few years ago I bought a Roco minimalist wallet. If you've never seen one, it's basically two thin pieces of machined aluminum sandwiched together with a thick rubber band. You slide your cards between the two plates and can slide bills between one of the plates and the rubber band.I really like this wallet. It's held up to daily carry for years, blocks RFID attacks (according to Roco, anyway), and takes up less room than a traditional folding wallet.Eventually the rubber band broke. Roco doesn't make this wallet any more and doesn't sell separate bands as far as I could tell. I measured the broken band and found that a #94 rubber band was an almost perfect match. Did you know that there were standard trade sizes for rubber bands? It was news to me.Less than 5 minutes of searching and I found this pack of 25 bands. In black, no less, just like my wallet. For about half the cost of a new wallet I now have a lifetime supply of these things. Even if I go through one a year, I'll be hanging on to this wallet for a LONG time.

The rotary jaws on my fiber laser dropped at a certain point when opening and I got tired of having to adjust it, so this was an easy fix with this durable rubber band. I've stretched several of them and they seem to hold up well. Plenty in a bag so if one lasts a few months for daily use, it's well worth the money. There is no weird smell or inconsistency with the size, either. Great product!

Purchased to hold pre-filter on my shop vac to help kept filter cleaner and filter more dust. Works well and should hold up for a long time and I have plenty of spares now too. Good size and not a huge amount of stretch since they are pretty thick.
