Mit dem Problem eines heissen Abluftrohres hab ich recherchiert und zu diesem Artikel gegriffen. Es ist einfach anzubringen und sieht auch ganz schick aus - die Wärme dämmt es allerdings nur bedingt. Der Stoff wird aussen ebenso Warm wie das Rohr, evtl. etwas kühler aber nicht viel.

Fits Perfectly on my Hisense Dual Hose Portable AC. Exact length, width, and diameter of the tubes. I do recommend removing the hoses from the ac unit and straightening them out. It makes it easier to put the insulation wraps on. Then simply pop the hoses back into place. When running the AC with these wraps there is a noticeable and significant decrease in the heat being released from the tubes. The product is well made. The material feels like neoprene with hook and loop material sewn on. There is a slight odor being released from the product. It's not bad enough to cause a headache, but there is an odor. I'll provide an estimate of how many days of outgassing until it's gone. To me, the odor is not enough of an issue to remove a star. I'm still very satisfied with the product. It does its job well. That being to increase the efficiency of the portable AC unit. I'll update with a photo, and exact model number.

Produit de bonne qualité, s'installe facilement et absorbe bien la chaleur. Maintenant on peut être proche du tuyau sans crece4 de chaleur.

funciona bien lo único es que as bandas negras no se pueden abrir por lo que fue un problema ponerlas, por lo demás todo bien

Realmente bajo la temperatura de la manguera del escape del aire acondicionado.

This cover was easy to install (with only one person) after stretching out the portable AC duct/hose. The cover fits a 5.9” hose snugly, but has stayed on without issue. After covering the stretched out hose, I had to attach it to the window and AC unit, and the duct/hose was easy to configure and shape as I connected and repositioned the hose. No issue and the cover remained secure in all areas of the hose, bends and turns included.The cover seems to be well constructed and looks slightly better/nicer than the original plastic ductwork being exposed. It had an immediate impact on the amount of heat coming off of the AC exhaust duct. Prior to installation, I measured the surface temperature of the hose (no cover) at about 85 degrees. After installing the cover, I measured the surface temperature of the covered hose at 75 degrees and lowering—room temperature was about 73 degrees at the time).Overall, I’d highly recommend this cover for anyone with a portable AC; it’s well made and a great value, having compared it to several similar items at significantly higher price points.

So I opened it, and started coughing at the fumes eminating from this. Figured I would just hang it in the second bathroom to air out a bit. After 24 hrs there, going in that bathroom makes me cough. After washing them the smell remained. Maybe I am being overly sensitive but I really wouldn't be surprised if this was made of abspestos or something. I'm not gonna use it on a hot tube where the heat would spread the smell more. The smell is like it was dipped in rubbing alchohol and turpentine and showered with hairspray... it assults your lungs like crazy.They do look well made. Gonna try and find a better one.

Buena opción para reducir el calor generado por el tubo de aire de escape del Aire Acondicionado en mi caso mi ventana está algo alejada del aparato y por eso la requería, no logra mitigar al 100% el aislamiento del calor, pero con esto se enfría más rápido y se consiguen un par de grados más de frescura, en cuanto a la ergonomía, le agrega algo de peso para que tengan en cuenta para la sujeción a la ventana y también queda un poco más rígida, por lo que no se podrá manipular con tanta facilidad al querer mover la manguera o el AC
