DATE OF ORDER: 01/05/24DATE RECEIVED: 01/10/24DATE OF REVIEW: 01/19/24PERSONAL BUY or PRODUCT TO REVIEW: Personal BuyDELIVERY: Unit arrived combined with other items ordered by UPS after 5 Days.QUALITY: Its really hard to rate a product like this for true 'quality'. Quality for us is not only how well it appears to be made but also how long the product will last. In this case, the product is plastic (all of it with the exception of the motor and control board). The motor and control board are housed inside the unit. I doubt seriously that you could ever get replacement parts if they fail. Its likely a one-time use only product. The remote is plastic. We can't tell you how long it might last. First impressions on 'looks' is that the unit is nice. The ad states that the motor is brushless. That could be a good thing. It might not be. The truth is in the control board though. The "quality" of the chipset will make or break a product. There is just no way to tell.INTENDED PURPOSE: We bought the 6" model. We needed to circulate more air from the 2nd floor loft to the bedroom and bathrooms below. We'll leave it at that. So it's not used as an 'exhaust' fan directly. It is a vertical mount for our application.RECOMMENDATION: Advertisements for this product say that the sound level is 30-34 db depending on speed selection. I would question that level but its certainly a lot less than most bath exhaust fans I've ever seen or installed. It's more like a 'white noise' background machine. As for output, it advertises 190 CFM (likely on high). We don't have tools to measure the actual output but its decent for its size. For comparison, it might be like a small desk fan on low to medium. This model does not have a light. We did not need it. The remote is intuitive. You turn it ON or OFF with the top left or right button. The 2 other button on the left control one direction (low and high speed). The other two buttons on the right control the opposite direction (low and high speed). It comes with wall screws if you want to hang it. We just throw it in the drawer until needed. We run it 24 hours a day. We vary the speed with the indoor temperature. It comes with cheap batteries to start. Ours were crushed in the box but still worked. There is no outside cover/louver since the company likely does not know your intended purpose or where you will install it. The dimensions shown in the ad are accurate. In our case, it was an easy install. I used a jig saw to cut the opening. The plug was within 3'. You may have a hole saw and drill that could make the work easier. Once the hole was cut, it dropped right in and installed with 4 screws after removing the top cover. BE CAREFUL. The cover is plastic and could break easy if you don't do it right. The lid will come off by hand. No tools necessarily required with a little strength and patience. Otherwise a small tip screwdriver may be required. The power cord is short. About 2.5' You'll need a plug nearby or you'll have to replace the flat cord on it to fit the housing correctly. Using a WATT METER, on low, it was 3 watts. On high, it was 8 watts. Watts are what you pay for. That translates to $0.01 a day on low for 24 hours and $0.15 per KW. On high, that would be $0.03 a day. If you sleep with a box fan by comparison, a box fan typically uses 60 Watts on low. That would use $0.072 for just 8 hours of use a day. $0.22 for all day. It is MADE IN CHINA like so many other 'cheap' products on Amazon. For the price, would we buy this unit again? For this product, we actually bought 2 on the first order. We recently bought another one. They work for the intended purpose. We'll just have to see how long they last. The price is high considering its all plastic. I would bet the company makes these in China for about $5 or less each. We bought this unit based on its advertised sound (db) level (which is likely higher than advertised) and the fact that the electrical usage was low per unit. The remote and reversing directions were also a plus. Not many units actually fit this bill.

This bathroom exhaust fan was needed for the renovation project that my husband and boys are working on. It has an 1850 rpm pure copper AC motor with low power consumption, good high and low-temperature tolerance, and a lifespan of more than 10,000 hours. For dependable and efficient performance, it provides strong ventilation and improved airflow. This one is quiet and allows me to take a bath in solitude, unlike the previous one, which was so noisy that I couldn't hear myself think. It can be utilized in other places even though we need it for the bathroom. The fan won't rust because it is waterproof and made of materials that are resistant to corrosion and high hardness. The fan includes screws and sponge pads for further convenience of use; however, the exhaust duct is not included and needs to be ordered separately. It's so much better than what we had before, and all it takes to use it is a flip of a switch. We didn't need to buy anything because it fits in our existing exhaust duct and is well-made, fashionable, and well-designed.
