This is a great lock! I installed it in about 15 minutes and it was super easy. Connecting to the lock to the app had a few minor issues but it finally worked. Previously had the Level Lock Plus which I have to say was terrible. I'd highly recommend purchasing this lock. Super easy to use and reliable.

I love a lot about this lock. Simplicity of set up, sturdy base plate, simple interface, sleek design. My one gripe is that the handle itself is very loosely fitting. It slips on, and a spring pin holds it in place. But the metal parts are not built with particularly high precision, meaning the entire handle rattles pretty easily and makes the thing feel cheap. I'm definitely happy enough to keep it for now, but don't have a ton of confidence that it will last for an extended period of time.

This lock has been installed for 2 weeks now and the lever from the outside has stoped engaging the bolt after inputting the correct 4 digit code or using the app to unlock it. The only thing that saved me was having the physical backup key that would for some reason turn the bolt. I live in the Midwest and we have been experiencing below freezing conditions. No where in the instructions/literature did I see any warnings about possible problems due to cold weather. Also, when installing this lock, there is a small cable that must be connected through a plate from the outside key pad to the inside battery. This small cable is directly in the way of the internal mechanism and screw holes that are used to secure the inside handle to the door. Though I enjoy all of the features the app offers, at the end of the day this lock is not reliable. Especially for the price point. Even if they sent me a new one, I don't think I would trust it.

I installed two of this model Schlage smart locks on my rental home. Excellent quality. Very heavy, solid construction. Very stylish modern look. Easy to install, connect to WiFi and connect to Schlage Home app. Sharing the virtual key to my tenants was super simple. Once my Yale Smartlocks break, I will be switching over to this model of Schlage lock. There is no separate WiFi module needed that the Yale version uses. Love that. I just purchased one to install on my personal home.
