I love it! It seems to be built well. It came in a nice box, with instructions, tools, and extra flints. However note the instructions say fill to 8%. And then something about overfilling causing fluid around the wick. I'm pretty sure it means 80%, but even so the tank is not clear and you can't see down the fill hole, so it would be much better if they could state a volume. I used an allergy syringe to fill my lighter. 1cc, and I've had no problems.To light you press and the lid pops open striking the flint as it opens and the wick ignites! It works flawlessly. I hope it will last many years. I will give a few of these as gifts to my best friends.

This is a great little trench lighter! It has a leather wrap comes with extra flints and a tool to open the fill screw and flint screw. Let you in on a secret you can get a quart of Colman fuel for 6 bucks and it works great as fuel and way cheaper naphtha works good too

It's a nice lighter but it does not work at all with kerosene. It works fine with naphtha, lighter fluid, and gasoline. A lot of people don't seem to have any idea what kerosene is.
