This game has grown on me. I actually really enjoy it, especially when playing with 2 sets, and a partner. I even play alone sometimes. Fun pieces to play with and a definite break from being on the internet or cell phone.

This set of SILICPS Seaside Escape Game Blocks Mahjong Sets with 49 Tiles 38mm Pet and Food Pattern with Bag comes with no instructions at all, but instructions can be found online if you search for Seaside Escape Mahjong. It is very pricey at $83, but only comes in 48 tiles with one blank.

Seaside Escape is the perfect game for all ages because it is a simple but quick fun matching game that is all based on luck. There is no way to cheat playing Seaside Escape either. The click , click, click of the very smooth game tiles you can do when moving them is very pleasing to most people’s senses and we do it on purpose just to hear that. The designs on the tiles are animals and food and are embedded in the tiles because I washed them all by hand to be sure they don’t wash off. These are the bigger tiles which we love and this larger 38mm size is safest with young children. Adults love this game as much as the children do. Everyone wants to play it daily! The case has no odor and is a perfect fit for the pieces to be stored in. The tiles have no odor and are in mint new condition ready for playing right out of the plastic wrapping. It comes with a spinner to decide who gets to start and it works wonderfully. I am going to buy more of this game as gifts!

I played Seaside Escape with my six grandkids (ages 3-12), and we loved it! Sadly, the blank block was missing, making setup hard. As a gift, I can’t return it, but it’s still a great game!
