I found they lock in place just fine as long as you line up the notch to the front and rear mic, first photos were just fine but after a few weeks, the coating on one of the lenses seems to have fogged in spots and I can't use it as it causes halos on everything... Note the streaks in the photo, I cannot get them out, I did not use any cleaners on the lens just a dry lens cloth

Heureusement que j ai acheté les protections. Elles on protéger parfaitement les optiques de l insta 360.

Lens guards are a necessary evil with any 360 camera and these are every bit as good as and better than the OEM lens covers. Fair price for a high quality product. Optically, they create no noticeable distortion. You do need to be careful that you install these in a dust free environment, but are very easy to remove and blow out. I carry an old style lens 'puffer" for this. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. Both quality and price are excellent.
