El nailon Selric Bonded es de nailon 6, que es extra fuerte y tiene una alta tolerancia al calor que los hilos de nailon normales.

This cord is nice and strong, easy to braid or cut. It sews through leather with ease and smoothly. It does not break easily so it securely holds your pieces together. You get a good amount and it comes off the roll with out tangling. The color does not bleed or fade. It is a nice thickness for plenty of applications. It is well priced for the quality of the thread.

For the few years that I’ve been leather working as a hobby, and have come to appreciate bonded or interwoven thread. The thread doesn’t unravel and stitching with it is easy. This Selric thread is no exception. I can put a needle through it and it stays put, even when I put the needle through the edge of the thread.I noticed a slight elongation range of this thread. When I pulled on it I can feel a slight stretch of the thread. When I release the extra pull on the thread it returns to normal, much like a spring.The plastic spool seems to be made a little thicker than some other spools that I have and is solid.This thread has a diameter of ~0.54mm. Of course, there can be some variation due to the pressure I applied on my calipers during measurement. The color of the thread appears to match the photos provided by the manufacturer.Due to the thread being nylon, it glides through my leather, but there appears to be very little to no wax on the thread. The thread also falls off the spool showing that there is no wax to cling to the other thread. The manufacturer doesn’t state that this is a waxed thread, but I thought I’d point it out also.Overall it’s a good thread and you get a lot of it with 600 yards per spool.

Took me a little over a month to find the right color and proper thread. This thread exceeded my expectations. The color and durability is phenomenal. My buddy that has an upholstery shop that is redoing my seat for my 85 Chevy c10 build is blown away by the quality and how well this thread works. Thank you for a great product. The quality is good, but the color is orange only on a bobbin, as a stitching it looks yellow. Looking now for orange orange color.
