This is a great way to try Senneliers oil pastels. You can mix these colours and create more of them. I like using walnut oil and a brush to thin them out and use them like a paint medium. They are soft, pigmented and high quality. Easy to use and blend.

I have been wanting to try these for a while. When I found this small pack of six I thought I would give them a go. Firstly they are very soft and blend beautifully, I think they are the best that I have tried, I just thought they were going to be a little bigger. They are shorter and almost half the thickness off a Paul Rubens oil pastel. I knew that they would be smaller I just didn't know how small they would be. They are a little shorter and thinner than the Mungyo Gallery soft artists oil pastels. Don't get me wrong I really like these I just need to decide if they are worth the cost to get a bigger set. I guess that is something everyone has to decide for them selves. Right now I am on the fence.
