Pasos de instalación:
1. Presiona la parte superior del espejo con la mano, saca el vidrio viejo junto con la tabla con un destornillador.
2. Retire el espejo antiguo, desenchufe el arnés de cableado.
3. Instala el nuevo espejo, conecta el arnés de cableado y alinea los puntos de montaje del espejo con el anillo exterior del motor.
4. Presiona el centro del espejo con la palma de tu mano cuidadosamente para evitar dañar el vidrio.

The original mirror came loose, but the glass stayed intact. I bought this replacement mirror, but it only lasted about two weeks before the double-sided tape failed on the freeway, leaving the mirror hanging by its wires. Unfortunately, I didn’t install the mirror right away, so by the time it failed, the return window had passed. It was a waste of time and money. In the end, I used silicone adhesive to fix the original mirror instead.

This works as expected as it is far from the OEM version of a heated mirror. It does heat, but it takes more than twice as long to defrost as the original. When I looked at them both, the original one had many more heating coils and they were much closer together. But for the price, I can forgive that since there are only 2 months worth of days where the mirror is frozen where I live.

So far so good. Mirror quality seems the same as VW OEM. Have not tried the heater function yet. Will update in case of any issue.

I got this to replace my mirror on my 2017 MK7 GTI and it fits perfectly. The mirror quality itself isn't bad. I don't see any distortion or anything. The extra blind spot section (convex) does take some getting used to but that's the main reason I wanted to try a mirror like this. With a couple of child seats in the rear, I find that manually checking the blindspot has become slightly more difficult. This mirror fixed that for me.

Great replacement side mirror. Fit perfect for our model car, was very easy to install as well as hookup the heated mirror connector. Mirror heats up as expected.
