It works as intended, it gets down to 30°F fairly quickly however getting it down to 0°F or -2°takes a bit longer. But it did kept my Ice cream frozen when i went to Death Valley. And it has very good insulation because when I turn the power off, I had cold bottled water inside it and left it overnight and the next day it was still cold, even though the cooler was in the trunk of my car. It is best to buy the portable power pack for it, which will power the refrigerator depending on the temp setting as well as outside temperature about 6 to 8 hours, then stays cold for hours after the power is off due to the insulation.

Has been in my cruiser for about two years now in the back seat, day in day out for 12 hours straight each shift. Having a refrigerator on hand to keep cold water, energy drinks, snacks, and a few soaked sheets for heat casualties is an absolute godsend!

WOW!! Bought this to try out for using to take to the beach or outings in the jeep. We have a Jackery 300 to keep it powered. First usage this thing got was a 4 day softball tourney in 95+degrees and humid! It performed flawlessly!! We used it on the Jackery 300 for 6 hrs and it still had 25% charge left!For reference I had it set at 26 degrees and it stayed at 26 degrees all day. It pulls about 46-50 watts when running and only a few watts in standby. Plugged in to the wall there was no issue getting down to the -4 degree low temp! Froze a bunch of water bottles on me! The power station would get it to that temp also just would run it down faster as it would be constantly running. But the set up worked great! The overall size is good. I can easily fit 10-12 water bottles, several other drinks and some snacks to keep cold! Inside or out you dont even notice the very very little noise when its running. Just make sure the vents have open space to breathe. GREAT COOLER/FREEZER!

Lots of room and it keeps everything very cold. I used it with my portable battery and it only used 50% of the 1000 watts for the 3 day weekend camping trip out in the wilderness. Some stuff still frozen in the bottom. I would recommend this for camping and for vanlife.
