This item came packaged well, great instructions, and great quality, especially at the price point! Everything was clearly labeled and the instructions were fine. The "Fold paper as a driving strip" broke immediately as I expected. I doubt that it would ever survive the multiple bungee cords it is meant to help feed. Do yourself a favor and just remove the 4 bolts needed to lay the windshield down and just lean it out a bit to feed the windshield bungees. I did this all alone but please make sure if you decide to lay the windshield completely flat to also remove your windshield wipers.I was concerned with the hard top fitting with this sun shade installed. I'm glad to report that it will fit, however if you are on the taller side, your head will touch the sunshade WITH THE HARDTOP INSTALLED, I've had no issue with that with the hardtop off. If you remove your freedom panels only the wind noise is amplified with this sunshade installed but WITH THE HARDTOP COMPLETELY OFF, the wind noise is very minimal which is overshadowed by the excellent job it does to block you from so much sun exposure.I saw a couple of review about the back of the sunshade flapping in the wind. I initially had some slack that would have allowed that, however adjusting my bungee straps around tightened it up and I have had no issue.I've seen complaints about the use of the bungee cords over other attachment methods. Honestly I would rather have the bungee cords as they're cheap and easy to replace if needed.

I've had multiple Jeeps and multiple sun shades....this guy is ok, fit was so so compared to others I've used.Quality was great, no complaints there...will def last for the duration.Plan on dropping the windshield on any JL or JT Jeep, not worth the fight otherwise.Price is modest, you can spend more or spend less.Definitely satisfied with product but would go with another guy if I had to replace for some reason

It was a bit of a challenge deciphering the pictographs for installing this shade. Once I figured it out, it was nothin but a thing. The little paper for pulling the cords through is a bit in the weak sauce side, but I understand keeping down costs to meet margins and all. I have it a chance, and it worked as designed. In the future, I’ll make a utility tape version of the threading paper instead of using the included paper one. A bit more instructions and a more clear step-by-step cord placements would help other, future purchasers and installers. You just have to feel around for the correct places to slide the cords through. If you test feed from the reverse side, you’ll be able to find where to feed from the top side down. (Sounds cronky, I know, but it worked for me).The shade gets in the way of roof lever access, but you get over it. It’s a small trade off. But the shade is nice, because you can drive around the city and have just a tiny bit more peace of mind, knowing that it’s going to take someone slicing through your shade and making a scene, to get at your truck interior (when your tops are off), and that’ll buy you a bit of time to catch the dirtbag pawing at your truck goodies. Just don’t be a dork and neglect making sure you don’t leave valuables in easy reach.Overall, this is a nice shade, it’s inexpensive compared to making it yourself, and it comes with an extra do-dad for your grab bar.Only 4 ⭐️s for the reasons my reasons listed above. As for durability, I’ve worked with this material before, and I know with TLC, it’s going to last a good many years.
