I hesitated to purchase this because I already have a Bissell Crosswave as well as a McCulloch steam cleaner. I love using each “machine” for different reasons but find myself reaching for the Shark most often. It’s the quickest one to whip out when I need to have my floors look decent during that last minute speed cleaning before company stops by.The Shark is quick to get out, set up, and heats up fast. It can hold a decent amount of water in the tank. The Shark is also very easy to clean after use.

Yesterday, I cleaned all the floors in my 4,600-square-foot house, and for the first time ever, I felt like there was absolutely nothing left on them. No dust, no dirt, no dog hair—just truly clean floors. One of the best things about the Shark 3-in-1 Steam Mop Vac is that it cuts my cleaning time in half. Before, I had to vacuum first, then mop with a bucket of water—constantly changing out dirty water after every room just to avoid spreading grime. This machine eliminates that whole process. It vacuums and mops at the same time with steam, so I’m not just pushing around dirty water—I’m actually sanitizing.Another big plus: all you need is water. It produces a lot of steam and effortlessly cuts through dirt, dust, and pet hair. The vacuum works well, and there’s no need for chemicals. That said, you do have to clean it after every use, which includes emptying the water and dirt reservoirs and cleaning the mop roller. But I don’t mind—some pricier models claim to be self-cleaning, but based on reviews, people still end up taking them apart manually to prevent odors. I’d rather just do a quick rinse myself. One limitation: it’s not designed to handle large amounts of liquid. I dropped a cup of coffee yesterday and tried mopping it up, but the liquid reservoir is pretty small. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me—I see this as a sanitizing and dirt-removal machine, not a spill soaker. If you wipe up most of a mess first, the steam mop finishes the job perfectly.I also want to mention something that’s always frustrated me—vacuuming first, then mopping, only to see leftover dirt get smeared around. No matter how well I vacuumed, I never felt like my floors were truly clean. But with this machine, they finally are. After using it yesterday, I immediately called my mom and multiple friends and told them they need this in their homes. It’s that good. I’m absolutely thrilled with this purchase!

This is my first vac/mop combo. I have used a steam mop for years and I am sold on the power of steam. However the pads always seem to stir up a bunch of stuff that needs vacuuming.I saw the shark 3 in 1 steam pickup on the Just a Dad channel and was impressed with the effectiveness and simplicity, not to mention the low price point. My experience it's lightweight builds up steam quickly, very effective at removing stuck on stains and picking up debris. Certainly has a limit to how much it can pick up with the relatively small collection tray, but it has made me reevaluate how important suction is vs head construction on a vacuum. This thing does not use suction but I would be hard pressed to say it doesn't pick up everything a normal vacuum would plus mopping the floor. The cons, since it doesn't suction it leaves the floor pretty wet especially if you have to work over a spot for a bit. It will pick up spills milk, water etc. but it is not going to dry out the floor a whole lot. Just leaves it clean and wet.If you want steam you are going to have a cord and I think this is an excellent choice. It certainly is nice not having to buy a bunch of proprietary solutions, just water. If you give up steam something cordless may be a little more convenient, although cleaning this thing is super quick and easy, the dirty stuff is all confined to three easy to access and sink wash components. And the cord is long and really only adds the time to plug in and wrap up.Last thought if you have a flooring type that is sensitive to heat or water ie. Some types of lvp, linoleum, or hard wood anything not sealed, you may want to be careful with this it is both hot and wet. Maybe something that vacuums and stays cold will keep your floor dryer and prevent warping or loosening glue.

Worked fine for 2 cleans of the floor of my small 1 bed apartment. On the 3rd use the steam stopped being produced and cold water just dribbles from the machine. Returning it.
