I used this product to drill Nephrite Jade for a sculpture. A material it is definitely not intended for. It did the job I needed it to do. For such excessively hard material I consider it nearly single use. Quite impressed. On softer material such as granite I seriously doubt it will have any issues.

I have purchased many bits from this company. I have given 5 stars every time. Small bits are always a problem to keep clean. These bits have wax inside which seems to do a good job of keeping the bit cool as long as you don’t push too hard. The bits work better dry than with water. My issue drilling 3/8” porcelain tile was the small tile center plug got stuck in the center of the bit. You might think the bit is dull but that was not the case. Pushing through the wax I popped the tile plug out of the core of the bit and continues drilling. The bit had plenty of life but the plugged bit was stopping the bit from drilling. If you keep the bit clear the bit drilled four holes in 3/8 hard Spanish tile.

I followed the directions. They cut nice and smooth. I used a cutting grease to help. We average about 15 holes with a bit. So plan on that and buy enough . But all in all I'm happy. We had to drill through an expensive marble floor. Put tape over it . No scratches or chips. I'm very satisfied and will buy again
