El filtro de cartucho original Shop-Vac 90304 está diseñado con pliegues para proporcionar más área de superficie para mejorar el flujo de aire mientras reduce la obstrucción para capturar polvo. Las medidas del filtro con inciden con las publicadas, tiene buen material filtrante y los acabados plásticos también son buenos.

I have 2 genuine Shop-Vac vacuums. A small, portable 5 gallon unit about 20 years old. The other vacuum is a newer, 12 gallon "industrial" series. This filter fits both perfectly. If you have some other brand of vac it may not fit. This is NOT a failure or defect in this filter. In fact, it's almost universal for real Shop-Vacs. It is easy to clean if it gets gunked-up with dust. I have an air compressor with a blow gun, I just take it to my garage and blow the dirt out from the filter, standing outdoors. No compressor? - Just bang the dirt off, carefully to avoid damage.It is NOT intended for wet pick-up, negative comments about this are invalid, it's not a defect. Also - do NOT rinse with water; it is never intended to get wet. ALL of the filters should come with a "Replacement Cartridge Filter Retainer." It is Shop-Vac Catalog No.: 30080-00, if your filter didn't come with one [mine did] you should contact Amazon and request an exchange. (At least there should have been a retainer on the old filter being replaced - save & reuse it.) The filter will not fall off if a proper retainer is used. The attached photo shows the filter retainer, and it should be included with every filter. The retainer rotates about one-quarter turn to lock the filter on. I have received a retainer with every filter I ever ordered - for the past 20+ years.

This is a good quality actual Shop Vac brand filter, dimensions are 7 1/2 inches outside diameter, just under 6 inches inside diameter, filter is 6 inches long and comes with the screw on cap. (I hunted for the right filter for a while for my SC14 metal wet/dry which for some reason is not listed on Shop Vac webswite). This is an excellent deal!!

My original filter is fine but I bought this one as a spare.) A friend with the same vac loaned theirs out and their filter was ruined.It was used in a wet situation and not dried properly. (lesson, NEVER loan your vac out LOL

I have an old Shop-Vac vacuum that I use in the garage which has served me well for the past 10 years. Unsurprisingly after all this time, the filter completely disintegrated the last time I tried to clean it.I was wary of buying from the USA but this filter arrived in reasonable time and was the correct size and seems to be of good quality.
