Look forward to using this tool when the situation calls for it. It gives me an additional option for cutting very high branches safely.

A windstorm came through and dropped a large 8" branch on the top of my truck. It was still levered up in the tree and on top of the truck. If I wasn't careful, it would have broken my window if I just backed it out of the way. Then I remembered I bought this for my motorcycle toolkit. Faster and easier than the gas chainsaw. I had the branch pruned back in 5 min so I could lever the main part down without it breaking my window. Keep one in your car. It's not going to rip through a mighty oak. But it will surely cut back the branches to let you get around something.

I used the saw to cut a thick branch high up on the tree. For this one needs to tie a rope to both ends of the saw and somehow pass it around the branch - I used a pole. The saw is sharp, but what was tricky is to make sure the saw was facing the branch with the tooth-side. Took a bit of time to wiggle, but worked in the end. Cutting was easy. Perhaps, the company can make a saw with teeth on both sides for cutting branches. All in all, an excellent product.

Functions well for the small jobs. Cuts well and it is ouite.
