Works great ! wear safety glasses when installing and dont forget to grease the spring as it rides against itself when coiling and uncoiling

This was the exact perfect size that we were looking for for the boat would definitely get it again if we needed it

The spring is the exact right size. It is tough to wind it into the recoil assembly, but after winding to mount the assembly; tighten the spring until the cord is out about 10 -12" from the motor housing. Then bolt the recoil assembly down under this tension.
