Cómo utilizar el candado plegable Sigtuna:
Paso 1: Despliega el candado
Despliega el candado de bicicleta para que sea lo suficientemente largo como para envolverlo alrededor de tu bicicleta y asegurarlo a un poste, portabicicletas u otro objeto fijo.
Paso 2: Asegure el candado
Envuelve el candado alrededor del cuadro de tu bicicleta y el objeto al que deseas bloquearlo. Asegúrate de colocar el candado de una manera que dificulte a alguien cortarlo o abrirlo. Luego, utiliza la llave de la cerradura para asegurarla en su lugar.
Paso 3: Prueba el candado
Después de haber asegurado el candado, dale un tirón firme para asegurarse de que está fijado tanto a tu bicicleta como al objeto al que la bloqueaste. Si eres capaz de mover tu bicicleta fácilmente, es posible que tengas que ajustar el posicionamiento o la tensión de la cerradura para que sea más segura.

As advertised, the main benefit of this lock is that it is a bit more compact than cable or U-Locks, and quick to deploy as well as more resistant to cutting than a cable lock.The locking mechanism is a bit awkward requiring a turn of the key to not only unlock but also lock (does not lock on it's own) and the length ( 32" fully extended) is enough to lock either the front wheel or rear wheel to the frame but not both and barely reach a bike parking rack, if at all.I am also concerned that if this lock is bent by a would be thief it would no longer be able to fold thus defeating one of its main benefits.I would say this lock is ideal for travelling when the plan is for very short stopovers where the bike won't be unattended for very long.

Little bit bulky, but what can you expect from interlocked metal plates XD. it's an overall good product, piece of mind my bike won't get stolen with this lock hanging off it, great deterrent.

This is a very cleverly portable yet robust design that I would feel confident in protecting my property from theft to at least a moderate degree. There are multiple, small, lightweight devices available that are similar in form but offer no real security except perhaps to possibly deter a passerby thief who spontaneously decides to ride off with your beautiful bike. Some, costing quite a bit more than this product, can be easily cut off in seconds and offer about the same security as tying a good piece of string around your bike. Granted, nothing will 100% protect against a determined thief who is out to get your expensive set of wheels and has tools, know-how and time, but this lock will greatly tilt the odds of their success in your favor, and would send most off in search of an easier target. The design and quality of materials used on this lock is superb making the current pricing on it a bargain! It cannot be cut with casual cutters, and the type of lock employed (abloy) cannot be picked.But...(the conundrum)This package weighs appx a couple of pounds. Online it looks like it would be much lighter. Much of the expense on a precious bike to be protected was to shave a few extra grams off of the bike's weight. Having attached a lock that adds a couple of extra pounds, let alone ounces, might not be a welcomed idea to many. The owner of a very expensive, very lightweight bike might use a heftier lock like this to add security when storing in their garage, but would probably not want to carry it around at all times, as this is designed to mount on the bike. However, this may be very suitable for mounting to a heavier bike such as a tandem or an E-bike or for the casual rider with a nice hybrid.I've been jammering on...sorry...In sum, this is a great lock for anyone except the most devoted race-bike enthusiast who would never leave their bike unattended in the first place!
