My son loved this, but it did not hold up. Got a hole in it about 2 weeks after the return period closed. To be fair he is rough on things, but a sensory pod should be used to kids who do a bit of thrashing. Had it held up better I would have ranked a 4-5 star.

My 3 yr old son is level 3 autistic. He’s non verbal but he definitely showed approval for this product. This is great for sensory seekers. The one thing I’d say that I didn’t like was the bottom inside needs blown up I didn’t see that until I already done both sides but the reason it was difficult was the attachment that blows the air in it kept coming off and then the plug stopper wouldn’t stay in the plug. It did take multiple attempts to get it properly inflated. One other small disadvantage was the length of the cord for the blower and the product is rather large so maneuvering it etc was a bit more difficult bc of the short cord but all that aside it’s definitely a win! He loves sitting in it it does tilt a bit but nothing that has caused him problems

Very happy with this product so far. Only received it a few days ago, but we bought this for our 5 yr old son who is disabled. He's unable to sit up unassisted on his own right now so we thought the tightness/snug fit of this would give him something soft and supportive to sit in. We've tried it a few times and he loves it. It's just snug enough to support his sides if he sits in the middle, and supports his back and neck when he's at one of the ends.Also large enough for his 7 yr old brother to sit in it with him too! No complaints so far.

Place two pillows inside the bottom floor part of it to provide comfort.

My kid likes to sit in this pod when watching Row Row Row Your Boat songs because it looks like a little boat. This is made out of the same material that my inflatable mattresses use. The outer part has a soft fuzzy texture and the bottom is more slick sticky rubber. I was initially inflating this using the large opening hole until I realized that there are 2 parts to the plugs. While the larger opening can work if you close it fast enough, it's certainly more convenient to inflate into the black part that is a one-way valve that only lets air in. My kid like to sit in it from time to time while looking at books too and I noticed that she's more calm afterwards. I also use it as a "toy transportator" when I need to quickly move a mess of toys from one room to another. The best part is that this can be deflated into a compact form to store away if needed.
