We had no trouble setting this up and it helped a lot during our trip to have a Spanish phone number. This is the second time we have purchased this Sim from Amazon (2 years apart), and this time I saw a tiny sentence on the listing stating one could buy the same plan on an eSim from their website. I purchased that as well and we were able to call each other while in Spain!

Performance and speed are terrible. Bought for primary data usage in Spain and it is just not working. I Do not recommend anyone getting it. Waste of money

I've been trying to activate the card well in advance before the trip. Tried it on my phone and my laptop. The system keeps saying that I'm using my camera for something else, and keeps asking me to stop these processes before I proceed. But I' not using my camera for anything, only for the activation. I'm very disappointed. Do not recommend.

Had never done a SIM card swap with my phone travelling internationally so was a little uncertain regarding the process. Bought three for myself, my wife and my teenage daughter.A few days before our trip I scanned the QR code on the card, entered a little information (including a scan of my passport- legally required in the EU)- took about 5 minutes for each card. I was able to register all three cards (you can do up to 5 per passport), and then gave one each to my wife and daughter.On the plane I popped open the SIM card drawer, which required more force than I expected (pro-tip: Remember to pack a small paperclip in your carryon), and carefully replaced my US based SIM card with the Orange one. Carefully packed my US based SIM card for when I returned.When we got to Spain I turned on my phone, was requested to enter the four digit pin (printed on the plastic sleeve that came with the card) and voila- cell and data service in Spain. Worked great throughout our visit, coverage was solid in Barcelona, Tarragona and Girona.Reversed the process with my US based card on the flight home- good to go when we landed.A few other notes:Cards worked fine for my wife and I, who both have IPhone 12 Pros. The third card did not work for my daughter’s phone (an iPhone SE), but I think this was a function of her cellular plan, which is restricted given that she is a minor (we are on Boost mobile). So do check your plan specs before your travel.Probably obvious, but you will get a new Spain based number (check your settings to see it), and your old number won’t work. So we couldn’t get texts or calls from our US based contacts, though iMessage and FaceTime worked with other Apple users when connected to wifi. We used WhatsApp for messaging and calls, though we did provide our numbers once or twice for restaurant reservations. But never really ‘used’ the new Spain based phone numbers.We were periodically asked to re enter the cards’ pin (which can be changed in the settings if you like), and also to rescan our passports. I did the former when asked and the latter once or twice, then disregarded subsequent requests to submit passport info (which we had already provided multiple times). This worked fine and after a couple days in country the requests stopped.TLDR: Cards were easy to install, instructions easy to follow and cards worked great on 2 out of 3 cards. Good experience overall.

I followed Tour Tech's instructions and activated the SIM via their website a few days before I left. Once I landed in Paris, insert the SIM into phone and (this is important) enter the SIM PIN number which is printed on the back of the card.1) Write town the SIM card PIN number, I had to enter it every time I turned the phone off and on.2) A few days after you start the phone it asks you to scan your passport to Orange. (it's an EU regulation that cell phone users be identified) I tried on the phone but it said that failed. I went to the Orange.es site on a computer and was able to put in a scan and they stopped bugging me.3) You can check the Orange.es site to see your usage. (see picture)4) The card looked different that that shown on Amazon but it had the same terms. (see picture)I will update this review after I refill the card to say how that went.Update I am using this card in Portugal:Upon buying the card my account page on orange.es showed a 10 Euro creditI have refilled the card three times;Once for 15 euro when the first month was ending.Again for 15 Euro because a number of charges reduced the balance such that I did not have enough for the 15 Euro auto-refill (my service was briefly suspended). Charges were because calls made outside of Spain are not included in the "800 free minutes" and cost me 2.95 Euro. Charges for SMS outside Spain cost me 2.45 Euro.Just now my third refill is for 5 Euro so my balance is enough for auto-refill.I am now just one day from auto-refill and my balance shows 19.58 Euro. This will get me my third 28 days of service starting tomorrow.So total cost is $30 for the initial purchase plus 45 Euros and now I am paid up for three 28 day service periods.My first refills were no problem through the tour-tech site, but the most recent time the site was down.Orange has a link to another page where you can refill with a non-Spanish credit card but you have to create a separate account on that page (different from the organe.es account). Weird but it works.Other than the above, the SIM has worked perfectly, no problem running hotspot etc.
