Came in a package of two bulbs. I have one in a chicken brooder and one in the chick's coop. Small, sturdy and give off a lot of heat. Takes a little time to warm up an area, but once it reaches temperature it works great. I really like that it doesn't give off any light so it doesn't disrupt the chickens sleeping schedule, but you do have to be careful because it's easy to burn yourself if you're not careful.I would recommend them over traditional heat bulbs for chicks. Much safer, less fire hazard.

We have 2 bearded dragons and these are what we use to keep them warm overnight. They work fantastic and are a great price. Shipping was faster than expected by 3 days and I live in a rural area. I highly recommend them.

To protect chicks from cold winter nights, heat lamps were needed for a thermostatically controlled brooder box. This is an outdoor box located in a very dark area. I didn't want standard light bulbs to draw attention to it. A 110 VAC thermostat controls the box temperature. Salvaged recessed double wall ceiling fixtures were used to mount the heat emitter bulbs in the box lid. Performance has been better than expected, long lasting, not overly fragile to movement, slow to heat & cool, heat not overly concentrated.
