Not sure what happened to the quality from when I last purchased in March 2023, but this time around the filters were restricting airflow. The first one at one point I heard a whistling sound and then I noticed my home wasn't warming up, it in fact went down a degree and then wouldn't warm up further. I check and the filter is all bent as if it were fighting to prevent itself being sucked in. Changed it thinking maybe just a faulty one. Then the 2nd one 2 days later did the same thing and had a noticeable bend as well. This unfortunately restricted airflow causing my unit to constantly work and work harder than it should. It's a newer unit (2022) and recently had an overall vent cleaning, so no way it should be as loud as it was or working as hard as it did. Very disappointed this are not as good as they once seemed to be as the price is obviously appealing.

I recently ordered these Crisp 20x20x1 Air Filters and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.With a MERV 13, MPR 1500 rating, these AC Furnace Air Filters in an economical 6-Pack are just what I needed to stock up. These filters are extremely easy to install and they are incredibly effective at trapping dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles. They also help reduce odors and improve the air quality in our home. The filters are also very affordable, so I can replace them often to keep our home clean and healthy.Highly recommend this product! Five stars!

This is the same brand I’ve been using for a while now and I really like it. These last way longer than the 3m ones I used to get. I think these last longer because of the higher MERV rating, higher MERV ratings use thicker materials.MERV ratings is something that I learned after switching to this brand, it’s basically a rating that lets you know what the filter can filter from the air. I was getting whatever was available at the store which is also probably why they weren’t lasting very long.The only thing that I did notice about these filters is that they fit a tiny bit loose compared to every other filter I’ve used so you might need to slightly adjust the tabs on the filter holder. Overall these filters do seem to work pretty well especially for the price.

After spending big bucks to replace all the A/C units last year, I decided to be super-vigilant about putting new filters in on a monthly schedule. I normally go with either Merv-11 or Merv-13, and I'm not really brand-loyal. I chose these Crisp filters because they were more of a value at a little over eight bucks each.The filter itself seems fine, it looks about as dirty when it comes out as my more expensive brands so I feel pretty comfortable that it's doing the basic job. But the paper "frame" is definitely flimsy so some care is needed for handling/inserting/removing. Guess this is where they're doing the cost-cutting.

Crisp Filters, MERV 13, MPR 1500 are made in the USA. These are pleated filters with expanded metal on the back to keep the pleats in place.I have a two area, upstairs and downstairs, HVAC system which uses four 20 x 20 x 1 filters at a time. I also live in a metro area with high pollen counts. Our downstairs system is larger and gets more use plus I have three little dogs who spend their time downstairs so I need a very efficient filter. MERV 13 clears the air of pollen, pet dander, dust, bacteria and a variety of pollutants. I have been using Crisp Filters with a lower MERV rating and they work well. Those filters are a good choice for the upstairs system while these MERV 13 filters are a better choice for the downstairs system.Crisp Filters are well made and easy to install. They come wrapped and protected in a sturdy carton. They are effective at trapping impurities in the air without hindering air flow.
