Acerca de este artículo

  • Composite steel and fiberglass Tension-Tite™ frame
  • Sturdy and stable for youth and elite players
  • Ultra-durable design for high-intensity training
  • Includes removable pitching target, carry bag and ground stakes
  • Lightweight, easy to pack, carry, and store

Taking only 90 seconds to fully assemble, and even less to take down, the design of the Quickster is revolutionary in its ease-of-use.  The net fully covers, with no drooping or sagging like other nets. The entire net fits into a bag not much larger than a gym bag and is durable enough for any sport and year-round training.

This is a very nice net for its intended purpose however the quality is lacking. We have had the unit for less than a year. During the winter it was stored away inside. This Spring we got it out and when the summer break started I set it up in our side yard for my son to use as the assembly and dismantling of it is a bit too much for him. After around 4 weeks I went to pack it up and found that one of the tension poles had broken. Readying through some of the other reviews here this seams like this may be a common issue. This product comes with a one year warranty though SKLZ negates the warrant for any item left outside. So does the fact that this product (an outdoors products at that) was left outside for a month mean that I have no warranty? The product was really only used a handful of times and it has not bee abused - all other pieces look okay. I have contacted SKLZ and if they come through and replace the broken part then I will amend my review back up to 5 stars. However right now, an outdoor product that breaks after limited use and because it was outside has not warranty only gets 2 star.

The key to this net is to FULLY insert all poles into their respective holes. My net recently failed because the person setting it up did not fully insert the poles into the holes so a couple of plastic caps cracked and eventually snapped off. This was my fault, not the MFG's. If you insert the poles fully that won't happen. Sometimes its tricky inserting the poles, you might think they are all the way in, but they are not. You need to feel the poll hit the back of the hole. I am ordering another one since my first one is now broken. And just to be safe, I am going to further secure all holes with metal clamps to prevent help prevent any cracking if one of my coaches don't put it together correctly.Long story short. Its a great net. Lightweight and easy to put together. Just do it right, don't take shortcuts.

I bought this due to a lot of positive reviews. Don't know if it used to be built well and they changed materials or manufacturers, but this is as cheap and flimsy as it gets. The back black bars are cheap plastic and bent so far, there is no way they will not break. The main net has 4 very cheap fabric loops that the add-on pitching net attaches to and one of the loops ripped the first time I attached the pitching net. The stakes it comes with are just as thin and cheap too. I put this up and we had 10-15mph winds and it pulled the back stakes right out of the ground and it fell over twice. Some of the reviews say adults are using this and there is no way. My kids are 8 & 10 and there is no way it would stay upright if anyone older than that was kicking a football or soccer ball at it like some reviews state. My kids were so excited when I surprised them with it and now they are totally disappointed. For the sake of it, I checked with customer service to see if I could just replace the main net with the broken loop so I finally get to try it out, but of course I have to pack up the whole thing again and ship it back. Forget it, complete waste of time. Just another low bid China product, shame on you.

Purchased this for my 9 and 6 year old boys to hit baseballs off a batting "T" into. We also use it for pitching practice using the small square net that easily attaches to the primary net. This net is big enough so that the seldomly are hit over or to the side of it, but small enough to be transportable. It literally takes 60 second to assemble and disassemble. I keep a small hammer in the storage bag just in case the ground is hard and I am unable to push the stakes in with my foot.I have also used this net to hit golf balls into as well. For the money, I dont think you can go wrong with this net. Try to put one of those round nets back in its package one time and you will happily pay any price for the ease of this net!Pros:Easy up and down (60 seconds)No screws or boltsSeems durable (no tears or rips after 6 months of heavy useLightweightCons:Can't think of any :)

We use it in baseball practice for hitting into off a tee or throwing into from a distance. I have never actually used the centerpiece target that comes with it.We also use it both inside and outside as a soccer goal. The set up is probably two minutes tops. Unlike some similar products, you have no trouble getting it to go back into the carrying case/bag.Comes with three metal "U" stakes. My only wish for this product is if the netting had slightly smaller holes in case I wanted to try hitting golf balls into it. Maybe it would work now, I haven't tried.
