Más de 100 años de calidad
SKS es un fabricante de calidad en la industria de la bicicleta, hemos estado manteniendo las bicicletas rodando durante más de 100 años.
Nuestra historia comenzó en 1921 cuando Karl Scheffer-Klute de Sundern, Alemania comenzó a fabricar barras de cortina. Su empresa fue comprada en 1932 por Wilhelm Blome, quien también compró una empresa de inflador de neumáticos, que lo inspiró a comenzar a fabricar bombas de metal.
SKS ahora es conocido como fabricante de bombas y guardabarros de bicicleta, junto con accesorios para tu bicicleta, incluyendo bombas de bicicleta, guardabarros, bolsos, herramientas, manómetros digitales, jaulas de botellas, adaptadores de jaula e incluso soportes para teléfono.

El futuro es naranja
SKS Germany emplea a 400 personas en nuestra sede de bicicletas en Sundern, y a más de 700 empleados en nuestras tres divisiones combinadas.
El 43% de nuestro negocio de bicicletas es a través de ventas de productos de posventa, mientras que el 32% es producto OEM.
Anualmente, SKS Germany produce:
- 4,5 millones de guardabarros completos
- 2 millones de guardabarros con clip
- 1,2 millones de bombas de bicicleta
Esto suma más de 18.000 guardabarros por día y 3.200 bombas por día
Renovar los clásicos
En 2022 se renovó la línea completa de guardabarros SKS. Los clásicos guardabarros Cromoplástico Longboard y Commuter II fueron reemplazados por los nuevos guardabarros Bluemels y Bluemels.
Ambos modelos están fabricados con el mismo material de guardabarros cromoplástico. Pero los Bluemels ahora vienen con hardware negro y están disponibles en más tamaños que antes.
Los guardabarros Bluemels Style cuentan con un diseño de perfil cuadrado, doble tecnología U Stay, un acabado negro mate, y vienen con un alerón elegante y flexible en el guardabarros delantero y trasero.

Da mich die Fahrradwerkstätten vor Ort leider sehr enttäuscht haben (die Wartung wurde schlampig ausgeführt oder einmal sogar nur vorgetäuscht), warte ich mein Fahrrad inzwischen selbst. Aber dazu benötigt man teilweise spezielles Werkzeug, u. a. eben eine Dämpferpumpe. Mit dieser hier habe ich eine sehr gute Wahl getroffen! Sie liegt super in der Hand, die Bedienung ist gut erklärt und sehr simpel, die Pumpe eignet sich auch für leicht versenkte Ventile. Mit wenigen Pumpstößen war meine Federgabel wieder tipptopp in Ordnung, das Pumpen ging überraschend leicht von der Hand. Gut durchdacht finde ich, dass der Ventil-Anschluss im Griff verschwindet, wenn man das Gerät nicht benötigt. Die Pumpe besitzt ein Manometer und die Möglichkeit mit einem gut bedienbaren Rädchen den Druck fein einzustellen. Einziger kleiner Schwachpunkt ist die Skala des Manometers: Der bar-Wert lässt sich sehr gut ablesen (weiße Schrift auf schwarzem Hintergrund), aber der fast ebenso gebräuchliche psi-Wert ist wirklich schlecht ablesbar (dunkelgraue Schrift auf dem schwarzen Hintergrund - wer denke sich so etwas aus?). Denn leider habe ich nicht das Modell des ersten Bildes mit der roten Schrift erhalten, sondern das auf dem zweiten Bild gezeigte. Deshalb empfehle ich vor dem Pumpen den benötigten Wert von psi in bar umzurechnen, sollte man nur den psi-Wert kennen. Da das für mich aber nur ein kleines Manko darstellt und ich dafür allenfalls einen halben Stern abziehen würde, bleibt es bei 5 Sternen.

My old high pressure XLC pump finally gave out on me (after 2 years of service) so I needed a new high pressure pump for my mountain bike fork, rear shock, and dropper post. I skipped the Fox Racing, Rockshox, and Marocchi pumps in favor of the SKS S.A.M. Suspension Pump because, unlike those three (which are so similarly designed) the build of the SKS (and some nice features) made me select it instead.I'm already familiar with SKS, as I have been using their air pressure gauge for the last 2 years and it's been reliable ever since day one. The S.A.M. looks and feels just as good - I don't think SKS cuts any corners when making equipment. The analog air pressure gauge has both PSI and Bar markings (be careful - unlike most of the suspension pumps out there, the outer numbers on this gauge are on the outer ring). The 360-degree rotating air hose is thick and reinforced with a braided sleeve.Attaching the pump to your bicycle front fork, rear shock, or dropper post is done via the heavy duty two-stage Schrader connector. The molded handle is large and shaped to fit inside the hand. Getting the air pressure up to the right number is easy, and if you go too far SKS has a nice solution: instead of an overly sensitive air release button that other pumps have, the S.A.M. has a pressure release dial. Turn it clockwise and air will be released based on how far you turn the dial. Once you're finished, the braided hose actually slides inside the handle grip for storage. It's a well thought out product, and if my excellent experience with the SKS air pressure gauge is any indication, the S.A.M. should be around for a long, long time also.

tiene doble cierre y evita que pierda aire. no entra mucho aire cada vez que le das pero para mi es más que suficiente.
