I wanted a solid clamp for my homemade copy stand, and looked at many. I was highly skeptical that some out there would be able to do what I wanted.But then I saw a couple of reviews here, showing and describing that this SmallRig clamp could hold heavier cameras than mine perfectly horizontally, so I got one. And it does NOT disappoint! As you can see in the photo, I have my Olympus Pen-F with 60mm f:2.8 Macro lens mounted on my homemade stand. The upright is a 1" steel pipe, into a square floor flange, screwed to a 3/4" laminated board.It is extremely rigid! It does not sag at all. It is as solid as the rest of the stand, it becomes part of the whole assembly. But no only is it very strong and rigid, but it adjusts very easily. With little twist of the clamping screws, you can adjust the height and position and then quickly firm everything up again. I mean, it is not like you need to be cranking down on the screws with a lot of force, everything is well-designed and grabs easily.And the quality of this device is wonderful! The materials, fit and finish, all top-notch. Do I sound like I'm gushing? Believe me, I buy plenty of items from all sources on the web, and few products I've found are this nicely designed and built. I'm even going to buy a second one to keep in my camera bag.

Amazing product Great metal finishing and also holds my Sony a6700 weight really well. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼I thought it was a bit bigger in the photos. But none the less really good product.

La calidad es excelente y el agarre de la pinza es firme pero tiene un gran problema y es que la pieza que une la parte central con la pinza se afloja a la derecha, si se agrega peso a la cámara el tornillo cederá dejando caer la carga. Mucho cuidado con eso

Usé el sistema como 3 veces, todo iba bien... los materiales son de excelente calidad, de metal, rígido. Estaba muy contento con el producto. Lamentablemente tiene un error de diseño brutal, la pieza que asegura el sistema es una mariposa que va a un tornillo, si se barre o se despega el pegamento en el interior queda totalmente inservible el mecanismo. He visto en los comentarios a muchas personas que le ha pasado lo mismo. Cuidado al comprar este producto.
