This is a decent quality part, on par with Dorman (heck, maybe the same manufacturer even). It looks light-years better than my dirty busted stock one.

I ordered this one and the "upgraded metal" most expensive version on Amazon and compared them side by side. I found they were very similar in quality. Some things I liked about the other and some I liked more on this one. Neither was perfect, but the OEM one looked very similar and it lasted for 25 years.It generally seems to be good, but the plastic on the lock mechanism seemed a bit thinner than the other ones. When I finished the install and everything was back together, the lock seems to stick a bit. I am not sure what is causing it, but I am expecting it will work smoother as I work the lock more. All three versions seem a bit weak at the hinge point which is plastic and is where the OEM one failed. If it lasts another 25 years, I will probably have the truck worn out.Overall, the quality seems to be pretty good considering it very much like the OEM.
