We purchased these rails for travel. With limited cargo room inside the Discovery and having kids and dog on travel. We use this with a roof mounted Thule case to store our luggage. We go camping a few times a year and with a growing family we needed more space for our belongings. The rack was very easy to assemble and install. The instructions we in Chinese, but ?I was able to find a YouTube video to ensure I was doing it right. IT is sturdy and made with high quality materials. Even when we don't have the roof case on our car still looks great. Very practical and functionable for our travelling needs.

Works on almost all kind of batteries. I bought it to charge LiFePO4 batteries and it works great. I have also used it on AGM and it worked great there as well. Only does 12v

These racks are awesome and made all the difference on my vehicle. Quality is great, racks and cross bars are heavy and not cheaply made.Only draw back instructions were in Chinese and we had some extra parts not shown on instructions.

Overall, we are pleased with this roof rack system.Everything feels well made and assembly and installation were pretty straight forward. The fit and finish are perfect and the bars match the body lines nicely. This rack system did not make and wind noise going down the road.We are happy and we would buy these cross bars again.5 STARS

I'm new to roof racks and over vehicle storage. My vehicle does come with the side rails but it doesn't have the cross bars. I ordered this kit because it said it fit my vehicle and it did! It actually worked with the original side rails that I have already on my car. I followed the instructions and my cross bars are in without any issues. I'm very impressed and I can't wait to add my cargo carrier and go for my outdoor adventures with the dogs.I like the material it seems very solid and durable. This kit isn't the cheap stuff at least it doesn't appear to be that way. I thought installation was going to be difficult but it wasn't at all. I'm very impressed, I love this roof rack kit. I think it's so worth it and I totally recommend.

Update: Seller reached out to me and was very interested in making sure I, as a buyer, was happy. They went above and beyond, especially considering I asked for no action. I highly recommend the seller.Seems like a fairly built unit for the price point. I have verified with my smart shunt and my electrical meter that it is only charging at 4.5-5 amps when the display shows that it is charging at 9.8A. If you want a low output charger, this seems to work well. If you need the full advertised 10A, you might not be pleased with this unit.

I used this to charge my LiFePo4 12.8V 50Ah battery that i had just discharged to about 15% of capacity. I'm giving this 4 stars as a preliminary rating, if it's still working as well after five recharges I'll bump it to 5 stars. [UPDATE 5/26/24 to raise rating to 5 stars; the charger continues to work exactly as desired.] The user manual only gets 3 stars, though. The writing is decent, but it's just not very informative, particularly about LiFePo4 charging and what all those light are doing. The Charging:Plugged it in, tapped the mode button to set it to LiFePo4, and attached the clamps. The charger correctly identified the battery as 12V and chargeable, and got to work. About 6 hours later it turned itself off. Open-circuit voltage after 3 hours of rest is a comfy 13.4 volts, and most state of charge tables give that a 99%. What's not to like? The charger got only a little warm, and emitted no overheated electronics or baking plastic odors . Cables and connectors all stayed cool. The fan makes a pleasant hum. Some reviewers find the case to be kind of a little to plasticky, but it seems solid enough to me.Starting the charging was simple, but how to pause it was not described. I unplugged the AC cord, then detached the clamps. The Display:It's got a lot of lights! They blink and change colors! Some of them seem to be trying to communicate with you, but the message is a bit unclear. The metered values of voltage, amperage, and temperature are nice. Nicer would have been if they included watt hours pushed into the battery. The little "filling battery" animation is cute, but in my case it simply went up to 60% and then didn't budge for hours. During that time the voltage was sitting around 13.7V, which seemed too low. However when it finally made it to 80% things started to happen; the voltage started increasing to an eventual 14.4V and the amps slowly fell from 10 to 5. I suspect that the filling battery animation doesn't mean much for LiFePo4 charging, but that's fine because the charger seems to know what it's doing. When the voltage reached the max the charger turned itself off, and as I said the battery seems to be 99% charged. There's also a "wheel of lights" which is kind of annoying at first; I think it's meant to let you know which charging stages have been completed. It's probably useful for lead-acid charging. And finally there's the Mode Button. It stays brightly lit and cycles through colors for no discernable reason. I think along with the wheel of lights it may be trying to entertain silverfish and spiders.

Fantastic! After ordering these Land Rover side rails, I realized these are actually high quality side rails. I've owned a few over the years, but these actually blow me away.. Made with premium durable material. In this package they provide you a total of (4) pieces for your roof rack cross bars. These are custom designed for the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The fit is actually perfect. I did not find any sort of defect that would alter the performance of these side rails. They are appealing and stylish-giving your Land Rover an instant upgrade, and at such a minimal price. Below, I will outline some of the other factors I considered prior to deciding this would more than likely be a great fit.*Design: Land Rover Discover Sport - custom fit- Years compatible 2015 and newer-Anti-theft lock system*Functionality : these perform as described. Well built and easy to work with.*Style factor: these are good looking side rails, done with a black powder finish - very nice*Anti-scratch treated*Mounting type: U-Bolt*Material: Aluminum*Versatile: you may use this with a cargo box, basket and even a kayak rack or skis*Simple installation that requires NO drilling*Dimensions for your reference: 81.89 x 10.94 x 4.48 inches with a weight of 24.6 lbsAll in all, these are some of the best side rails that I've owned to date. The material is durable providing longevity. I did not find or encounter any issues with defects or missing parts. Based on how well it works - the material and overall working design, I would recommend this to other consumers. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. :)
