They work for my application however the pos and neg were reversed. So just make sure it’s oriented the same. I have a de-pinning tool so I just swapped them.

The product works great. I even cut the lines to solder them in place of the old one. It holds a charge for a long time. It is a direct replacement, so be sure to check for exact fit. Once you clip it into the harness, you will notice it sits in their tightly with very little movement. If you remove it to charge it, it'll feel the same way. That is how you know it is of high quality.

I had read about this being a concern some months ago, but completely forgot that I needed to worry about this. I was excited to connect it to a new Meshtastic device that arrived a couple of days ago. It immediately let all the smoke out of that $30 unit. I expect that the battery is still fine. The connector can only go in one way, but that doesn't mean that the wires were inserted with the polarity that your device is expecting. Double-check before you toast your device.

I ordered the “blue” hat, by looking at the picture on Amazon it looks like a light aqua blue. The hat is actually Sea green or Sea Foam colored, for those wondering. Not a big deal, b/c I still love the color. Looks well made and fits nicely! I love the adjustable strap underneath.

I made the dumb move of replacing the battery on my brand-new solar powered radio because the factory battery just wouldn't hold a charge. Turns out the factory battery wasn't at fault; it's the radio itself that's defective. It apparently continuously discharges the battery, whether you're using it or not. So... this battery was the perfect replacement and works great. Since the radio is junk, I now have a spare battery. I don't know what to do with it, but I'm sure I'll think of something. :-)
