Best fit and best looking hat I've ever owned. I wanted to avoid the fedora hat look and style, and this Panama Jack Safari Sun hat nails it! I'm not a hat person and I wear hats only for sun protection. Looks, fit and style is top shelf!

This hat is a size larger than when I purchased my last Panama Jack hat several years agoAt that time I had a large, which fit perfectly and "inherited" an extra-large. This new hat, sized large, is the same size as the old extra-large. I have had to use fill strips to even wear this new one. In numbered sizing I am an American 7-1/4 or a metric 58 long oval (59 with fill strips)Update: I purchased the Khaki version of this hat and sizing was truer to fit. I applied waterproofing spray and it shrank to perfect fit. The Khaki is green enough to be olive drab. I wanted a tan Khaki, but this is wearable. I consider it good data for future purchases. I will still buy a chin strap because my hats tend to blow off.

Looks fantastic, Man.”Plus, it's stiff but not cardboard, maintains its shape, wide-brimmed so it affords wide shadow of sun protection, though a wind gust can rip it away, so hold on with a well-placed finger extending from a starched or linen white shirt and handsome wrist-bearing, elegant, low-profile wristwatch.
