I think I am in love with this hat.I got this on Saturday, just before I was going to mow. In East Texas, the sun beats down, and the wind rarely stops. I have tried regular sunhats, farmer's caps, you name it. They blow away in the breeze, and yet, trying to mow my large yard (it takes about an hour, on a riding mower) without one can be quite uncomfortable, and getting a sunburn is not hard.I love the design; it allows me to take off the top part (hidden zipper) for use just as a visor; it has a wide brim to protect my face; it has snaps that permit me to put the side of the brim up, for more coolness, and it has two ropes: one to let me adjust the fit; and the second to hold the hat in place. Someone took a fair amount of time to figure out JUST what I needed, and I am grateful.This is the perfect hat for mowing; for going to the beach; for hiking, you name it. Stick a flower on it, and go to a party (kidding, but you could). It also, because of the softness of the material, folds to virtually nothing.And all this at a very, very affordable price.Any wonder why I am in love?

A cute hat, perfect for summer fun. This hat has a number of features that make it ideal for sunny outings. You can zip the crown off, so it becomes a visor. It is super lightweight and packable. You can adjust the size-- though I found it was snug on me even at the largest option. The hat has an under-chin strap with a little toggle that keeps it from loosening, so in winds it won't fly off. The brim is a good width, so it truly keeps the sun off. I will be wearing this hat a lot for my outdoor activities. A great purchase and a lot of funtionality for the money.
