I bought this Jewelry Cabinet because my jewelry was disorganized, misplaced, and scattered in multiple purses, dresser drawers and all over my makeup vanity. Basically, finding specific items was next to impossible. The cabinet was relatively easy to assemble and came with an individually packaged tool kit. Once assembled, it is definitely on the heavier side (especially the non-slip base that keeps it stable) and moving it throughout the house without breaking or scratching anything can be a bit of a challenge.The inside panels of this cabinet are covered in black velvet-like fabric and the cabinet includes Earring Slots, Stud Holes, Necklace Hooks, Ring Slots, Bracelet Rods, a dust-proof Jewelry Bag / pocket, 5 interior shelves, as well as 3 additional rear (exterior) shelves. The base offers a smooth 360-degree rotation that provides you an easy access to the rear storage shelves. The cabinet door has a nice sturdy feel to it and closing it securely is very easy, thanks to a strong magnet closure system and the door's optional lockable design helps in keeping the content safe.I have been using this cabinet for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Aside from my jewelry, I keep an array of items stored inside and I like that I can keep it locked since my toddler is in his discovery phase. It has been working great to keep USB keys safe, hair ties organized, and little trinkets easily accessible. Great purchase. EXTREMELY Well packed, very little SIMPLE assembly. YOU WILL NEED 2nd person.I adore this thing. I’m tall- so is this mirror. The interior is excellent. I’ve cleared out a jewelry drawer that was dysfunctional, and two enormous necklace stands, eyeglasses, perfume tray .. this thing is absurdly wonderful! I can’t believe I waited to get it because it solves so many problems, looks fantastic AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL QUALITY, FULL-LENGTH MIRROR. I’m tall-it REALLY is full length.I think all people with accessory storage issues would be pleased- plus!! the rear shelves too! AND a full length QUALITY mirror too!NO BAD SMELLS, NO BAD PACKING, CLEAR DIRECTIONS, very few parts to assemble with well packaged hardware and screwdriver included. All predrilled holes were cleanly drilled, no occluding material in holes. Hinge on door is good quality. Locking mechanism is good, key turns easily without jiggling or pushing door. NOTHING NEGATIVE TO REPORT WHATSOEVER. if any of the mentioned items bothered me one bit, I’d disassemble and return. All this snd nice looking too! Tremendous value.

I bought this for my wife as a birthday present. I was able to assemble it myself even though they recommend two people, just make sure you have your tools and screws close by so you can keep a hand on the mirror cabinet. The cabinet behind the mirror is lockable and has a large amount of space inside for my wife's jewelry. It also spins 360 degrees. Everything works on the mirror cabinet (the lock works, the cabinet assembly spins freely and the hardware supplied fits well). Make sure that you put the hardware on a dark surface like a yoga mat to make sure that you received all the screws and nuts and that you use the correct screws according to the instructions. The instructions are fairly easy to follow because they explained how to put it together using diagrams. I spent more than I wanted but you pay for what you get and the cabinet behind the mirror is a nice bonus for keeping valuables free from dust. It is sturdy when finished and is unlikely to tip over unless you push it over. I wouldn't use it to lay clothes on top but that's just common sense.

PROs: Packaging/delivery was flawless. A breeze to set up. All the fasteners/bolts fit as designed. Lock mechanism smooth and simple. Looks great and is functional. Holds a lot of stuff. CONs: Made from pressed board and a couple of cardboard shelving units. Still should last with gentle care but take care in moving around. Very tall and could possible tilt over if pushed too hard from top. Even with the CONs I think overall a good buy for the money.

I'm very impressed with SONGMICS Customer Service, as not only did they reply as a comment on this review, but upon receipt of my Amazon message reporting the problem they arranged to have a new jewelry case shipped, even before messaging me back. Result: I received the response from the company within about 8 hours after reporting it. The case actually shipped 3 days after my request and arrived 2 days after that. So, replacement in hand 5 days after the problem was reported. Fast work!Although I had asked for a new door to switch out with the old, the vendor could only provide a full replacement for the case. The new unit arrived in excellent condition. I really love this jewelry case’s whole idea because it doubles as a full-length mirror, yet takes up a slightly smaller footprint than the upright traditional cases my daughter already had. It offers a lot of room for those that wear medium to long necklaces – a serious shortage in a lot of jewelry cases. It also has tons of room for rings (100, I think), room for bracelets and several small shelves. There’s an interior mirror also, although I’d have preferred one more row to hang necklaces.This is the jewelry case that comes the closest to offering enough storage, by far, for a twenty-something business professional who wears a lot of long necklace and earring sets. Plus it’s all laid out in a very visual way, so the entire collection can be visually scanned very quickly, rather than requiring the person to open multiple doors and dig through various drawers. This is the way jewelry cases should be designed.Another point for SONGMICS Customer Service is that they requested additional photographs to help them report this problem to the factory so that this type of problem would be taken care of at the quality assurance stage, rather than distributed to the customer.Very happy with this purchase since the vendor replaced the defective case with a good one.Original review: This jewelry armoire came with white handprints inside and outside the door. The handprints/finger smudges are oddly prismatic, so I’m guessing that they’re actually under the clear coat. We didn’t notice the ones on the outside of the door as they were on the side away from how we were assembling it, and of course, keeping the door closed until the last steps of assembly, didn’t see the smudges inside either. When we finished putting it all together and turned it around and stepped back, we were dismayed to see the white smudges on the hinged side. When we opened the door, there were the other white smudges on the inside.It looks as though someone with white paint on their hands or something similar picked up the door. Anyway, this is so heavy and awkward, I’ve no idea how we would return it. Guess I’ll have to ponder this and weigh the work involved sending it back versus staring at white handprints on a dark finish. If it weren’t for the handprints, we’d be very pleased. SO incredibly unhappy with the defective finish. There’s no excuse for that lack of quality control.
