El diseño y la tecnología G Master ofrecen un renderizado insuperable, un AF asombroso y un extraordinario rendimiento de estabilización de imagen. Un elemento XA (asférico extremo) con precisión de superficie de 0,01 micras contribuye a una resolución previamente inalcanzable y un impresionante bokeh para un nuevo potencial expresivo. Cuatro elementos de vidrio ED y dos Super ED suprimen la aberración cromática para una resolución máxima y el color natural sin que se desvanezca en todas las imágenes en todas las longitudes focales. La distancia mínima de enfoque es de 0,96 m, para un aumento de hasta 0,25x. Un mecanismo de enfoque flotante minimiza la distorsión y la aberración que normalmente limitan el rendimiento de primer plano.

Having always considered a prime lens the pinnacle of sharpness and bokeh I was surprised when using my first proper telephoto lens on just how good they were. The lens I tried was the sony 70-200mm f4 OG and since using it I fell in love with the focal length. Unfortunately the lens I tried had some dust as it was purchased used, and despite it not having any impact on optical quality, it annoyed me. When having a look around for similar lenses I came across this lens new, on offer and I had just received a bonus from work. Purchased.I am looking to start a photography business where this lens would be absolutely vital for 90% of the work and therefore a necessary purchase. It is exceptionally well build, but twice as heavy as the f4 counter-part. This was a concern before using the lens, and now that I have taken it around with me for some hobby shots in the new forest hand held there are fewer concerns about its weight. I didnt really notice the weight difference due to having to hold the camera and lens with both hands and is actually well balanced.The auto focus is quick and reliable, but does make a very slight noise when focusing (the f4 was silent!) however this is only noticeable in quiet environments.Image quality is very special, in my opinion, as it produces very natural and sharp images with a non clinical characteristic. There is something special about the images this lens produces. As the lens is f2.8 the boken and subject separation at any focal range is marvellously blown out, but at 200mm (slowly becoming my favourite focal length) I love it.I have programmed the buttons on the lens to enter apsc mode for when a little bit of extra range is required and the remainder of the switches on the lens have been set to the setting I want and it will be unlikely for me to change these. The lens hood is well made and has a reassuring click when in place and the lens is weather sealed.The main use for this lens will be for weddings and ceremonies and believe this will be the main work horse along side my sigma 35mm f2. Love the lens and so glad that I am lucky enough to have bought this new.

Neben dem 24-70 2.8 GM mein absolutes lieblings Objektiv. Perfekter Autofokus und arbeitet exzellent mit meiner Alpha 7R5 zusammen. So macht Fotografieren Spaß.

No sólo cumple con lo que promete, lo supera, la calidad de imagen es muy alta. Nitidez, colores, practicidad. Funciona de maravilla con el AF. Se siente la calidad al tenerlo en las manos.

Increible lente. Muy costoso pero el autofoco es impresionantemente rapido y preciso y la separación del fondo cuando estas a 2.8 es inigualable. Muy nitido y los colores bastante buenos. Un lado negativo es el tamaño y el peso pero es parte de lo que tienes que soportar por ese tipo de lentes.

Su única desventaja el precio. Es un verdadero patanegra. No echo de menos una óptica fija tipo 85mm o 105mm para retrato puesto que la nitidez es absoluta con muy buen bokeh. Antes el retrato lo hacía con una nikon y el 85mm f1.4d y no lo echo de menos. He ganado en calidad, rapidez y versatilidad, todo ello unido a mi sony a7 III. Está super bien construido en cuanto a materiales y no me desharé de él. Es el que más uso en estudio, sobre todo, para los niños, q así no se sienten acosados por la distancia.
