This replacement for the padded center console cup holder is actually even better than the original as far as I am concerned. The original was made of a soft pliable material, which was nice originally, but due to age and probably sun damage, the material began to crack and split and the foam padding underneath was showing through. The original became so bad I took it off completely a few years ago and have just had the black hard plastic console body showing where the cup holders are. This didn't look great, but it certainly was better than the aged padding top. When I found this replacement to be available, I decided to try it right away. My truck is a 2006, so was pleased to find this replacement for my older truck.On installing it, the fit is very tight and takes some effort to pop into place. If it goes in crooked, it can be challenging to get it back out and try again. You want to try to make certain all the little tabs on the unit are in all of the right holes and apply strong, even pressure to the whole thing all at once. Once you do this, it locks into place very tightly. The finish is an extremely good match to the original in both color and texture. It is a little different from the original due to this being a hard plastic as opposed to the original foam top. I like this better and glad to finally have found a suitable replacement.

Put this in my 2007 F-150 XLT. Super fast and easy to put in. Looks great. Its even better than the original because it will not fall apart like the original one did. Its just a molded piece of plastic that will last for as long as I own the vehicle. First one lasted 15 years. And for $20? That is a no brainer. If I replaced it with a Ford one it would be a few hundred dollars. No way.

Si encaja perfectamente, las medidas son exactas. No es superficie acolchonada o esponjosa como el original, es plastico duro! a fin de cuentas si se ve como un parche, no se ve la armonia del diseno original. Por el precio esta bien, pero no es como la pieza original!
