This is a fantastic combo for the Osmo Pocket 3. The gimbal-screen cover is very similar to others on the market (and that I have reviewed), but this one is different because it also covers the control buttons, so you won't inadvertently start recording when slipping the device into your pocket, purse or bag. The cover also not as rigidly form-fitting as other brands, so there is room for a magnetic lens or filter inside... and it's lightly padded inside, adding extra protection.. On top of all of that, you can use this cover with the Amazear magnetc mount attached, which is very handy. By itself, this protective cover sell for $9 (as of this writing)The Magnetic Mount is a must-have for this device...and similar mounts are sold by lots of other manufacturers. This Amazear mount is sturdy accessory, with a form-fitting cage with foldable claw mount (other similar mounts don't have the foldable claws). The mount easily turns found objects -- railings, lightposts, mail boxes, cars --into tripods, vastly expanding the opportunity for getting great, stable shots. It's like having another camera man in your pocket. The magnet is super strong yet easy to remove from surfaces. It even doubles as a sturdy stand for the camera on flat, non-magnetic surfaces. This sells seperately for $16 (as of this writing).So the price of this combo is the same cost as buying these two items seperately (at least as of this writing), but I recommend buying them together. They are two essential accessories that you will find yourself using frequently.

I picked up the AMAZEAR Magnetic Mount Stand & Gimbal Lens Protective Cover Combo for my DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Each piece attaches nicely and easily to the Pocket 3. The magnet is quite strong and sticks nice and easy to whatever metal surface you place it against. In the box, it also comes with an Allen Wrench and 3 metal plates.As you can tell from the photos the magnetic plate locks up to the back, and unlocks with a little button. There's also a go-cam mount located on the back. The cover to the Pocket 3 has two release clips located on either side and inside is a little plate where you can place a magnetic lens filter.What I don't like, is how cheap the plastic case is. I feel, that for the price the case should be a bit more robust.Overall, I like the set as it protects the Pocket 3 with the base magnetic mount on without having to remove it when packing it up on the go. So, if you're in need of a magnetic mount and want to protect it when not in use without removing the mount - then definitely consider the AMAZEAR Magnetic Mount Stand.

With a bit better construction this could have been a five star review. This gizmo comes in two parts, a bottom magnetic clamp for temporary mounting somewhere and top piece to turn it into a carry case.The top part is a complete let down, check the pic out, it doesn't close properly. Even if it did fit, the plastic fasteners open with the shallowest of touch. This part of the case is ridiculously flimsy and I don't trust it. The carry case that comes with the Osmo 3 creator kit is absolutely solid, check out the side by side pic. Heavens forbid you drop this expensive piece of equipment but which would you choose if this did happen?The magnetic bottom part is a little better but still concerns me, I'd need to take it on and off quite a bit. There are some plastic latches that hold the camera inside and I don't know how long they'll last.There is some good stuff!The magnet is super strong and I'd have no worries about using to mount while out filming. The Allen key is a nice addition to change the tautness of the mount, these things do loosen over time. Finally, it comes with three metal plates with adhesive backs If you did want to semi-permanently fix it to, say, tile, wood or something similar this will let you do that.
