This stand is sturdy and will hold the weight it was intended to do. The sunburst mat is pretty and will enhance the stand.

We have a one gallon glass container that we keep at our cabin. It is filled every day and gets used regularly throughout. It always made me nervous when the kids, small and tall, would use it. You needed to move it to the front of the table in order to get your cup underneath the flow nozzle. And that was a disaster just waiting to happen. I couldn't be watching it all of the time, so I just prayed no one would push it too far off of the table. After a particularly close call, I searched for a solution and found this. This is perfect! The stand is stable and sturdy. The sunflower silicone pad is pretty and functional; it keeps the jar from sliding off of the stand when in use. And it does its job well. The whole thing cleans off easily with a damp cloth. The sunflower can be thrown in the dishwater, when needed. This is a really easy solution to a nerve wracking problem that I am glad to be rid of! This is perfect!
