The description says they are made of aluminum alloy, but they are steel.

These are not made out of aluminum as the description says. They are heavy and a magnet sticks to them. I believe they are painted steel. Very likely will rust in time. Also, the screws are much smaller diameter than the competition. I could go on about the design too. Cannot be laid down flat for mobile applications. I returned them and purchased another brand (eco-worthy)for same price that are night and day better and actually made out of aluminum.

I was surprised picking up this package. I thought it's aluminum bracket, but no, heavy as an anchor. It definitely help the solar against strong wind. The steel is white enameled to protect it against rust. It's a good investment, especially as we are dealing with PSPS.

These were too small for the panels I have, but they were very easy to assemble, customer service is good.
