Functional little curtain rod brackets, affordable, simple installation, does what they're supposed to do. Recommended.

The ease of use! It was so fantastic! I used the Triple Grip anchors from a hardware store as my house is 101 years old and I’m sure the drywall is close to it! That said, there is just one screw that holds it in, I wouldn’t trust that in a ceiling if you have heavy drapes, definitely invest in a good drywall anchor. I ordered four sets (maybe three?), I’d recommend these over any others I’ve used over the years!

I have not installed these brackets yet but they are the only brackets I could find that fit all of my requirements.-The picture I included shows the weird window above my sliding patio door topped with extra wide mounding. This bracket can fit on top or my 1inch wide molding or inside the frame of the window/door. We are planning on putting in blinds at a later time but the tension rod we are currently using keeps falling due to kid, cat and dog. So this is a fabulous solution for now. I’m so impressed with how sturdy these brackets feel that I’m going to order two more set’s because these would definitely hold up a hanging rod for plants. I stepped on the brackets and tried to bend them with my hands and they didn’t budge. Made from decent metal and seem solid. The screws that came with it are the stand cheap crap wall anchor type and there are a few scratches in the finish.-One picture posted with soda can to show size.-last picture. Excuse the dirty tape measure but I wanted to include a picture of where the hole is. The center is at 3/8. The end is at 3/4. This is the measurement from the inside of the bracket so if anyone wants to use it over molding instead of ceiling mount.
