Did not fit my 4x4.... no guards so you have to manually place them half way. Delayed my project. Not as big as other brackets for the same price

Pretty good brackets. If I was a better craftsman or had more time, I should cut some pretty, functional joints. But I'm not and I don't and these are WAY faster and look pretty good too.These brackets are pretty heavy duty, they weigh almost 5 lbs each. They fit 4x4 dimensional lumber pretty well with just a little wiggle room. You can see in the pick that i was able to squeeze 2 quarters in on two sides, so about 3.5 mm either way. (Not complaining, just showing fyi.) This post in the pic is treated, but it's pretty dry. So if you have fresh treated posts, the fit might be a little tighter.Comes with two pretty durable looking brackets and a whole bag of matching wood screws. They're big enough so that you get at least 3" of each post into the bracket, and 7" for whichever one you push all the way to the back.Good, rugged, pretty heavy duty, sockets are deep enough, and made building time much quicker. I like them and would buy again.

Built a pergola, and these do t fit onto green lumber. Need to wait a few weeks until it shrinks to finish my pergola now. Welds are junk too.

These brackets helped us build the perfect custom size pergola for our patio addition. One set didn't come with anchors but for the price we just went and bought 8 anchors at Lowe's. And just for personal preference, we bought our own screws that were black because the screws that come with it are silver.
