I've gone through way too many packs of Alkaline batteries and figured I'd give these a try. What I like about these AAA batteries is each battery is USB-C rechargeable. I can easily plug in a USB-C cable to charge each battery. The included cable makes it really easy to charge all 4 batteries at once without needing to use 4 ports on a charger, or even one at a time. Note - the cable is USB-A on one end and 4 USB-C on the other. There is a light on each battery that shows that the battery is charging. So far, I have not had any issues with these batteries - but I don't use them with anything that sucks a lot of power. I'll be giving them a try in my headlight for my next camping trip.Note - the batteries should not be charged with a charger not meant for Lithium Ion batteries.

I seem to have plenty AA rechargeables at this point but always seem to be lacking AAA. I don't need many since its mainly remotes and things, but I got these to make sure I had some ready to go. Already have a couple in a remote and I am not disappointed. These came with a charge but not fully charged. So, I hooked them up to their charging octopus and they quickly charged. I think that is the only drawback to the newer lithium. You can use your regular chargers to recharge them. At some point when I get more, I will get a better charger but for now the cable worked fine. The other hiccup is they do need to be topped off every so often since they do discharge over time. Even these with low self-discharge says top them off every 6 months.Lithium batteries have a bonus though. They have the same 1.5v that an old school battery has. This can be very important since you can't really use a regular rechargeable in some devices since they start at 1.2v. Plus, these will operate at full voltage until they just stop. They don't slow down during use, its all or nothing. The form factor is spot on with my other AAAs. So, I didn't have any issue with them fitting my electronics. These just have the little slot in them for the charging cable, otherwise no real difference. If you understand the differences of the different batteries and have a need or use for these AAA lithium, these seem like a good version of them.

Note that the capacity rating of these cells is in milliwatt-hours, not in milliamp-hours like you see on NiMH and NiCd batteries. 1100 sounds a lot bigger than the typical 750-800 you see with a typical NiMH AAA battery, right? Comparing the proper units, you're looking at 1100mWh for these cells, and 900-360mWh for NiMh Eneloops. Still an improvement, but something to be aware of. (Watt-hours are a better measurement for this type of battery, because the cell voltage at 3.7V is stepped down to the normal alkaline 1.5V output.)In my testing, I found these cells ingested 1,400mWh on average while charging, and took about an hour and fifteen minutes from empty. With losses in charging taken into account, that's pretty close to the 1100mWh rating. Very good. The end of the battery blinks green while charging, and turns steady green when done.I applaud the manufacturer for including output current specifications, as some similar products lack them. In this case, output is rated at 200mA constant, with a peak current of 1200mA. That's a bit weak compared to NiMH cells (which can hit up to a constant 1600mA or more!) but should be fine for most things that use AAAs. Just check the specifications on your device to make sure it falls under that rating.A quad-lead charge cable is included. It's pretty simply built, just tying ground and VBUS in parallel from the type-A connector to each type-C connector. Each type-C connector even has the required 56k pullup. While you won't get fast charging, it's convenient for filling all of the batteries at once, and built in a way that won't damage other devices. I also tested and found these will charge just fine from a normal USB-C charger and cable, having the proper 5.1k pulldown to request power. They're great replacements for alkalines in lower power devices, like remotes. You'll get a bit better life out of them, while also not having to worry about leakage. Recharging is super easy, and they're not very expensive compared to NiMH, either. While you'll want something else for high current usage, these should work well for just about everything else.
