First off I am comparing this to a $200 true fire just to be clear. I purchased this as a back up release to keep in my tree if I drop my other. It will serve that purpose. It is loud and big but that doesn’t affect it so rating to me. The major issue I’m having is that the locking mechanism only works when it wants to so it falls off the D-loop randomly and then takes multiple tries to lock again. Overall I am unfortunately going to return this release for that reason as I don’t trust it to work when I need it to. For back yard shooting it would prolly be fine. For something I need it to work every time. I just can’t count on it.

This is an awesome release, some reviews complained that it is too loud but I have noticed that while making the shot and after it is broken-in it is much quieter, that being said its no louder than any of my other releases. The sensitivity adjustment works great and I like how you can change the position of the trigger to best fit your hand and shooting style. Excellent budget release, it is perfect for anyone who wants to try thumb trigger for the first time.
