The filter doesn't separate the grounds very well, so even though your coffee may stay hot longer I hope you enjoy chewing your cup of joe.

Got as a birthday present for my mom. She absolutely loves it. Great quality keeps the coffee hot. Looks nice very functional.

I love the insulation factor of this French press, however the filter lets tons of grounds come through. Maybe we're doing something wrong but I don't think so. It didn't come with any directions, but I've used a French press plenty of times before and it's fairly self-explanatory. We make sure that the filter is tight. And still tons of grounds come through. Not like other French presses I've used which are much easier to clean and don't have the grounds coming through. Disappointed!

First off I've accidentally broken many coffee makers and presses. Glass pots are NOT my friend. After a lot of research I picked Stanley because of the size, durability, and to keep the coffee hot.-It's very heavy duty, if I somehow smacked it off the counter it would be fine.-It keeps the coffee hot, even with spout open.-Pressing the coffee is smooth like butter. I haven't had any loose grounds in my coffee.-Cleaning and disassembly is easy.Only issue is the metal band and the lid absorbs that heat and gets burning hot.
