I got Starlink service about 3 months ago. The dish came with a small flip out arm, so I placed it on the ground. There was nothing in the instructions that indicated doing so would impact service reliability, but it absolutely did. Every show I've watched had numerous points where the playback stopped for a few seconds. Watching sports in HD was impossible due to the frequent screen freezes.So, I bought this tripod in hopes that it would improve things. And it absolutely did. The screen freezes have disappeared - totally.Don't put your dish on the ground. This tripod saved us from cancelling our Starlink service.

This is a well made stand, it's easy to set up and attaching the antenna is simple. I wanted to see if this would stand up against the elements so used this as soon as it arrived during an atmospheric river and wind event. The wind toppled our flag pole, but this stand held it's own against the on slot. I was impressed that it did and would highly recommend it.
